Overview
The Antediluvian (meaning "before the Flood") or pre-Flood period was the first and oldest era in the history of the Earth, beginning with the Creation Week and ending with the Genesis Flood. The world, both in terms of nature and culture, that existed during this time period was radically different from the world we experience today, and it was completely destroyed during the Flood, leaving only certain traces in the geological record that echoes back in time.
Creation Week
The very beginning of the Antediluvian period was one of the most eventful moments of the era ever, being initiated by the Creation Week event during which God brought the Earth and the entire universe into existence within a timespan of six days. Read more!

The Antediluvian history can be divided into eleven epochs (or twelve if the pre-Adamitic epoch of Creation Week is counted), each named after the respective patriarchs from Adam down to Noah.
